Excellence In Education

Noel Loveland

Mrs. Loveland

Biography

Noel Loveland sitting with bronze statue of Oscar Wilde.

Mrs. Loveland joined the MVHS faculty in 2018.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies, and  Master's Degree in Social Science, both from the University of Michigan. While her real love will always be American History (because of Johnny Tremaine) (You can Google it), she is thrilled to be teaching Honors and World History and  the AP Government Classes. Occasionally she dabbles in Freshman English and spent many years teaching it in her last job at West Bloomfield High School in West Bloomfield Michigan. She is also the current National Honor Society Adviser, and directs the school's fall play, and spring musical (with Mr Garrabrant). She also teaches a course of her own design called "Natural Disasters and Inequality" at Kenyon College's Camp Four program each June.  While she waits for her invitation to join the E Street Band, she enjoys watching all sports, reading mysteries, going to concerts and plays, and planning  trips to Walt Disney World and Yellowstone National Park. She and her husband Gordon were married in July 2020.
