New Student Registration.
Please allow approximately 30 minutes for the completion of the District’s online registration form. For ease of use, make sure to complete the online registration using a desktop or laptop computer. Do not attempt to enroll on a mobile device.
Instructions on using the online registration process.
Before you begin, have the following information ready:
phone numbers and email addresses for work and home,
student health information,
emergency contact information.
This is a three step process that allows parents to complete the registration forms online and then set up a time to bring the necessary documents to the Welcome Center to finalize the registration process.
STEP 1 -
CREATE a new “OneView” parent account

Once you click the
|Create A New Account|
link, you will be asked to fill out a brief form including personal information and account access information.
In the left menu, select
|ADD STUDENT|
and
|New to the District|
…..to enroll a new student in the district’.
You will be asked for the students First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and Enrolling Grade.
When finished click
|Begin New Enrollment|
.

STEP 2 - COMPLETE online registration
. ‘NEW ENROLLMENT'
There are ten parts to the registration process. At any time, you may select the
|SAVE|
button to save information and finish the form at a later time.
Please fill out all information on the form. Fields which are required are marked in bold. Questions about this form should be directed to Deb Doup at

|Save & Submit|
to the District. button at either the top or the bottom of the form to securely transmit your student information to the school district.
You must click the
|SAVE & SUBMIT|
button on the last page to finish the registration.

STEP 3 - CONTACT - Make a Welcome Center appointment
. After the entire online registration is completed and submitted, you will receive an email prompting you to schedule an appointment at the District Welcome Center. The District Welcome Center is located at the Mount Vernon Board of Education Offices at 300 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio. (

! At your enrollment appointment, you will need a number of identification documents to complete the registration.
Photo ID of Parent/Guardian enrolling student
Original Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency in one of these forms:
mortgage statement
utility bills: gas/electric/water
lease
deed
property tax statement
Immunization Requirements
Current IEP/504 Plan (if applicable)
Current Documentation of Custody (if applicable). In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.67.2 and the Missing Children’s Act, the parent/guardian must provide a certified copy of the divorce decree and parenting plan allocating parental rights and responsibilities and/or other documents allocating custody or guardianship.
