About Me:
I graduated from Ohio Northern University where I majored in English education and minored in theatre. In 2010, I completed my Master of Arts degree through the Bread Loaf School of English, a summer residency program of Middlebury College. The poet Robert Frost was very involved in the school in its first half century, so it was quite inspiring to tour his cabin and study in the same environment that may have inspired some of his poetry.
Before coming to teach at Mount Vernon High School, I lived in Funehiki, Japan for two years and taught English to Japanese students. It was definitely a life-changing experience.
