I am a 2006 graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a B.A. in Spanish. As part of my degree, I had the opportunity to spend a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica. When I returned to the U.S. after my semester abroad, I finished my degree and moved back down there for about a year.
After working in business for a while, I obtained my teaching license in 2011 to teach K-12 in the state of Ohio. I love teaching. It is my goal to inspire students to truly learn a second language, not simply memorize words and verb conjugations. In my class, I encourage students to ask questions, work hard, and have fun!
