Anthony Springer

Anthony Springer has been teaching orchestra in Mount Vernon since 2008. He holds a Master of Music Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from The College of Wooster. Mr. Springer is a professional member of the Ohio Music Education Association and American String Teacher's Association.

Mr. Springer's primary instrument is the cello. He performs regularly with the Knox County Symphony, Southeastern Ohio Symphony Orchestra, several string quartets, and other ensembles in the area. He is the adjunct cello teacher at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and is an orchestra adjudicator throughout Ohio.

Mr. Springer also coaches the MVHS Swimming and Diving Team.

Mr. Springer lives outside of Gambier, Ohio with his wife, three children, and his Boston Terrier, Mahler.
