Anthony Springer

Anthony Springer is in his 13th year, 18th overall, as orchestra director for the Mount Vernon City School District. He holds a Master of Music Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from The College of Wooster. Mr. Springer is a professional member of the Ohio Music Education Association and American String Teacher's Association and currently serves as a string adjudicator and East-Central Region Treasurer. 

Mr. Springer's primary instrument is the cello. He performs with the Knox County Symphony, several string quartets, and other ensembles in the area. Mr. Springer is also the conductor for the Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings.

Mr. Springer currently lives near Gambier, Ohio with his wife, three children, and his Boston Terrier, Mahler.
