I am in my 9th year of teaching at Mount Vernon High School. I taught 7 years previously at Arcanum High School. Currently, I teach 10th grade English, COTC Advanced Composition, and Grammar.
I received my Undergraduate degree from Muskingum College in 2008 and my Master's degree from Miami University in 2013.
Other than teaching, I spend most of my time getting my kids to their activities. I have a 9 year old daughter, a 5 year old son, and a 1 year old daughter. I love to read and some of my favorite books are To Kill A Mockingbird and the Harry Potter series. In the summer, I always makes sure to take a trip to the beach to enjoy the sun and sand and relaxation. This is exactly how I get reinvigorated for another great year!
