I have had the privilege of serving students and their families as a school administrator for over twenty years. One of my greatest pleasures is being part of a school community that enables students to succeed. I have served in several different schools: large and small; rural and suburban; in the United States and outside of the United States.  I have learned regardless the setting, when school and families work together to support education, students win.  I am impressed with Mount Vernon City Schools emphasis on family relationships and I am looking forward to contributing to those connections.

Cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in students allowing each to reach their full potential. I am committed to exploring new and innovative ideas to meet the needs of all students. I am also looking forward to opportunities to interact with students, their families and members of the larger community.

My wife, Terri, and I are blessed with two sons and a daughter. Aaron, Andrew, and Alex. We are all excited to support Jackets Nation.
