On March 14th, from 5 to 7 PM, Mount Vernon Middle School will host its first-ever Academic Showcase! This event aims to highlight the incredible learning and achievements of our students throughout the academic year.

We've planned an engaging evening filled with activities that celebrate the diverse talents within our student body. “Our theme will be a celebration of learning,” said Principal Darin Prince. “We want to celebrate the great things our students and staff have accomplished this year in all academic areas. “Each student will have an opportunity to individually share their academic work with parents, grandparents, other family members, and friends.” There will be exhibits from our unified arts classes for you to enjoy, as well as demonstrations from groups like our Robotics Team.

As we believe in the power of the performing arts, small groups, and ensembles will be scattered across the building, providing entertaining performances throughout the event. This will truly be a showcase of the various talents that make our school community special.

To create a lively atmosphere, we'll have food trucks on-site with food and drinks available for purchase. The commons will be open for you to be able to sit down with your students and family to enjoy your food. This is a community event, so all are welcome! We hope that you will make an evening of this event and help us to celebrate the awesome work of our students and staff.
