Knox County Middle School and High School students had a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths and meet with potential employers and educational institutions at the Knox County Career Quest. This special event, held on Thursday, May 9, at the Energy Field House, offered insights and experiences designed specifically for youth and young adults.

This event was presented by OhioMeansJobs Knox County in partnership with Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio, featured an engaging scavenger hunt format where participants explored different career clusters and engaged in interactive activities. It was a chance for attendees to connect with over 45 employers and education providers, offering insights into various career pathways and what makes each one unique.

Highlights of the day included hands-on activities at each exhibitor area, where attendees learned about job-related skills and participated in challenges to win prizes. The dynamic setting provided a platform for participants to not only gather information but also experience the practical aspects of various careers.

Participants were required to register in advance to receive a free ticket via email, essential for admission. Junior Achievement had provided preparatory materials to enhance the attendees' experience, ensuring they were well-prepared before the event.

The large Energy Fieldhouse turned out to be the perfect venue for the Knox County Career Quest as students from all county schools gathered to explore and learn more about potential career paths. This event not only offered insights into the professional world but also paved the way for many to begin to consider their future career choices.
