My name is Suzy Springer.  I teach music at Pleasant Street and Wiggin Street Elementary Schools. I earned my Bachelors of Music Education from Mount Union College (now the University of Mount Union) in 2001 and I love my vocation.  My husband teaches orchestra at MVHS and we have three children: Emily, Madeline, and Ben.

Pleasant Street Elementary
October 3rd, 2025 @ 5pm. 3rd Grade Performance @ Johnny Appleseed Festival. Downtown Mount Vernon- COTC parking lot.  Students should arrive at 4:50pm. 
TBA- Veteran's Day Program.  Pleasant Street Elementary Gym.  Date and Time TBD.
TBA-3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade December Performance.  Mount Vernon High School Theatre.  6:00pm.
TBA-K, 1st, and 2nd Grade Spring Performances.  High School Theatre, 6:00pm.

Wiggin Street Elementary

TBA-Veteran's Day Observance Flag Ceremony.  Students lead National Anthem.

TBA-K, 1st, and 2nd Grade Spring Performances.  Rosse Hall, Kenyon College .
TBA-Talent Show (3rd, 4th, and 5th graders ).  10am rehearsal (no audience). 2pm. Talent Show for parents/school audience.
