Our 5th graders will be heading to Heartland Conference Retreat Center in Marengo, Ohio from May 9 to May 11, 2016 thanks, in part, to a grant from Ariel Foundation.
All parents of fifth grade MVCSD students are invited to attend an informational meeting for parents led by the Heartland Camp staff. They will introduce you to their facility, show you what our students will be doing while we’re there, and answer any questions you may have.
The parent meeting for students from Wiggin Street, Columbia, and Pleasant Street will be on Tuesday, February 9. The parent meeting for Dan Emmett, East, and Twin Oak students will be on Tuesday, February 16. The meetings will be held in the theater of Mount Vernon High School and will begin at 7 pm.
