Hello! My name is Tyler Branham, welcome to my classroom. I am excited for the school year to start and looking forward to all the progress the students will make this year academically, socially, and emotionally. This is my fourth year at Mount Vernon City Schools and as an Intervention Specialist, and it is my 11th year teaching. My undergraduate degree is in Middle Childhood Education (Mathematics and Social Studies) from Ohio Dominican University with a masters in Special Education from Western Governors University. I previously taught in a juvenile detention facility, Eagle Wings Academy (school for students who were identified with emotional disturbance), and a couple years as a middle school history teacher. I coach MS football here at MVMS as well. This past summer I got married and became a step-father for two boys and two dogs.
