Mount Vernon Middle School

Excellence In Education

Mrs. Robin Elliott

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Robin Elliott and family.
Hello!  I am so happy to be a member of the Mount Vernon Middle School Jacket Family! All but two years of my career have been spent with Middle Schoolers.  I love to help students navigate this amazing yet awkward time in their lives.  Just like my students, I love to laugh and have fun with my co-workers and my students.

I graduated from Capital University with my education degree.  I received a generalist master’s degree from Marygrove College and earned my administrative license in 2008 from Ashland University.  I worked as an intern at Gahanna Middle School West my senior year of my undergrad program at Capital.    I spent every day in the classroom instead of taking classes like typical college students.  That is when my mind was made up that “in the middle” was my niche.  After graduation, I spent a year as an intervention specialist in 6th grade at Northridge Middle School and then spent 23 more years with Northridge Schools as a teacher, middle school athletic director, coach, and administrator.

Chad, my husband is also a middle school teacher, and we have two sons, Dylan and Tate.

I love spending time with my family, especially if we are on a beach with our toes in the sand!
