I am happy to announce that I have concluded my tour of duty in the Middle East and have made it back to the United States. It will still be several days before I am able to return home, but it is a great feeling to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel and to know that this journey will soon come to an end. It is important to me to be present for the first days of the school year. If all goes according to plan and there are no delays in my travel, I will be present at Family's First Flight on August 16th, Jacket's First Flight on August 17th, and the first day of school for all students on August 18th. I will then take two weeks off to reintegrate with my family before returning full-time at MVMS on September 5th. Thank you so much for your support of me and my family while I was away.

We are very excited to welcome our students back to a new school year. No matter how many "first days of school" I experience, I always get the same excitement when seeing kids arrive back on campus. It is my hope that your student is just as excited to come to MVMS for the 2023-24 school year. We are going to accomplish great things together!
