I am excited to take over this year as middle school principal after spending nine years as assistant principal. It has been an unbelievable ride thus far.
I graduated from Ashland University with my education degree. I received a generalist master’s degree from Marygrove College and earned my administrative license from Ashland University. This is my 27th year in education and I have taught at the intermediate, middle and high school level. I was also an Athletic Director and Varsity Baseball coach before coming to Mount Vernon. I was fortunate enough to coach the varsity team here at Mount Vernon as well in my first 5 years and we won two OCC championships.
I live in Ashland with my wife Bonnie, daughter Alex and two sons Tyler and Brayden. We enjoy any outside activities and love to cheer on the Buckeyes.
