My name is Ms. Ghiloni.  I teach first grade at Dan Emmett Elementary.  This is my 14th year teaching at Dan Emmett.  I am a graduate of Mount Vernon City Schools.  I received my bachelors degree in elementary education from Bethany College in West Virginia.  In 2013, I received my masters from Ashland University.

 

Reading has always been a passion of mine.  I am certified in teaching an intensive reading method for students with dyslexia called Orton-Gillingham, as well as, Wilson Reading.  I love spending time with my son, who is also a first grader this year. We love hiking, fishing, being outdoors, and playing with our dog, Roxy and cat, Moochi.
