Hello students and families!
I hope you had a great summer! Welcome to kindergarten! I am so excited to journey through kindergarten with you as we learn and grow together. We are going to have a fabulous year and I can’t wait to meet you all!
I grew up in a small town called Sidney, Ohio where I grew up with my older brother and younger sister. I enjoy being outside, reading, and spending time with friends, family, my husband, and my daughter Evie. I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University and received my bachelors in early childhood education as well as my reading specialist degree. I am working on my masters in Educational Psychology. I have taught elementary for ten years, and eight of them have been teaching and enjoying Kindergarten! I am so excited to begin my third year here at Dan Emmett!
It is my pleasure to welcome you to kindergarten in room 102! Kindergarten is a very important grade as your student begins their educational journey. The growth the students make in this grade is astounding, and I am looking forward to working with you as we encourage, assist, and support your student as they become scholars. You are the most essential part of your child’s education, and I am honored to work with you as we help your child grow and learn together. Let’s make this year an amazing year!
