I have the pleasure of teaching Art at both Pleasant Street and Wiggin Street Elementary Schools. This is my 14th year teaching in Mount Vernon. I graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor's degree in Art Education and minors in both Art History and Religion. I then continued my education at Ashland where I obtained a Master's degree in Educational Administration.
I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends, camping and traveling to the beach. My favorite sport teams to cheer for are The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
My goal is to inspire children to never lose their imagination and creativity. There is no other career that could be more rewarding to me than the one that I have!
