Welcome to Kindergarten! What a fantastic year we have planned ahead of us. I cannot express how excited I am to watch your child grow over the year. I am happy to get to know you and your family this year!

This will be my third year teaching Kindergarten at East Elementary. In 2022, I received my bachelor's degree in general education for grades K–5 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I went on to earn my master's degree in special education for grades K–12 in 2024.

Aside from teaching, I have been coaching volleyball for Mount Vernon High School for 5 years. I spend most of my free time with my family. I have three nieces, Kaylee, Skylar, and Marley, and a nephew, Kohen, whom I enjoy taking to do lots of fun things. I also love traveling, seeing new places, and snowboarding in the Winter.

Kindergarten is such an exciting time for new beginnings, new friends, and new learning. I can’t wait to share those experiences with your child. I’m looking forward to watching them learn and grow throughout the upcoming school year!
