I began my teaching career teaching second grade in 1997 at Mount Vernon City Schools.  I have taught second and third grades and I'm currently teaching fifth grade.  I earned my Bachelors Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mount Vernon Nazarene Universtiy.  

 

I reside in Mount Vernon with my husband, Chad, daughter, Hanna, and my dog, Peanut.  My husband and I attend First Church of the Nazarene and Hanna attends New Life Church of the Nazarene.  I enjoy reading, painting, crafting, traveling, camping and spending time with my family.
