Ms. Kingsmill moved from Medina, Ohio to Mount Vernon in 2014. She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University with a Bachelor of Science for Elementary teaching in 2004. Ms. Kingsmill taught 2nd/3rd grades for a year and a half before returning for her Licensure for Mild/Moderate Special Education in 2006. Ms. Kingsmill went on to teach 5th-grade students in a self-contained classroom before returning to B-W for her Masters of Art in Reading in 2010. She was an Intervention Specialist at Barberton High School for four years before becoming an Intervention Specialist at MVCSD in March 2014.
Ms. Kingsmill has two grown children of her own, a grandson, and a granddaughter.
