My name is Rebecca Japikse and I teach music at Dan Emmett and East Elementary schools.  I earned my Bachelors of Music Education from Otterbein University in 2015 and am currently working on my Masters Degree at Capital University.  

My husband teaches orchestra at MVMS and we are so happy to be in Mount Vernon.  I am looking forward to my 8th year in public education and looking forward to a great school year!
