I have been a 4th and 5th grade teacher for 26 years. I earned my degrees at Wilmington College with a BA in Social Work, but later got my MA at Ohio State University in Elementary Education.

 I began my career as a teacher in Fredericktown and then continued with 5th grade at Dan Emmett Elementary nineteen years ago. This year however, I will be moving to the 4th grade and will continue to teach to age groups that I adore!.  I live in Fredericktown with my husband and have three grown boys, 3 daughters-in-law, and 9 grandchildren.  

 

I enjoy outdoor activities including swimming and camping, spending time with the grandchildren, and participating in the local dinner theater productions at the Alcove! 

My goal is not only to teach students the academics they need to know to continue to 5th grade but to develop lifelong relationships with each kiddo I get the privilege of teaching!  Welcome to our Dan Emmett family!
