I have been teaching art for Mount Vernon City Schools since 2007.  Most of those years have been spent serving students at Mount Vernon Middle School.  I graduated with a BS in Visual Arts Education from Ashland University and then obtained my MS as an Intervention Specialist from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I currently teach 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Art and I love teaching students at the Middle School. I live outside of Butler with my husband Mike, two sons Jackson and Jake, and our two dogs. I enjoy creating art, reading, spending time with family, watching my boys play the sports that they love, and visiting the beach.
