Welcome to Mrs. Menke's Science class! I joined the Mount Vernon Middle School in 2008. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Nuclear Medicine from Findlay College (Go Oilers!) and my Masters of Arts in Education from The Ohio State University( Go Bucks!)! In addition to my Reading Endorsement, I am trained in Orton-Gillingham and certified in Wilson Language System.
I love being outdoors, watching nature, to read, and hope to share my passion with my students.
My husband, Ben, and I are both graduates of Mount Vernon! Go Yellow Jackets! I love spending time with my daughter, Chelsea, and my son, Griffin. Some of our favorite things are family hikes at Wolf Run Park and Mohican. We love taking walks on the beach and exploring the tidepools! I am often on the Kokosing Bike Trail with our dog, Bella.
