Two Hour Delay Schedule

School Delay

Mount Vernon City Schools will use 2-hour delays as necessary. Delays, as well as school closings, will be announced on:
  • WMVO/WQIO (1300AM/93.7FM)
  • WNZR (90.9FM)
  • WSNY (95.5FM)
  • WTVN (610AM)
  • WCMH (Channel 4)
  • WSYX (Channel 6)
  • WBNS (Channel 10)
Make sure you are signed up for text and/or email alerts by going to the Instant Connect Portal.

During a delay, children riding buses will be picked up two hours later than their usual time. School will begin promptly at 11:00 am. If we are on a 2-hour delay, you should still watch for alerts letting you know if weather conditions have made it necessary to change our plans.

No breakfast will be served and there will be no Learning Zone.
