Hello! My name is Brittany Kaylor and this is my fourth year with Mount Vernon City Schools. This is my 11th year teaching and my 7th year in special education. I graduated from Ohio State with my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2010. I then continued my education at Ohio State, earning my Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education. I then decided to go back to school at Muskingum University to earn my Early Childhood Intervention Specialist license.
I spent 8 years working with preschool age children. This is my third year working with elementary students I grew up in Knox County and I am beyond excited to be working in the county I was born and raised in!
My family and I live just outside of Centerburg. I have a 12 year old step son and a 5 year old daughter. We have 2 cats named Scarlett and Roxy and 2 hermit crabs named Shelly and Sheldon.
I love the Ohio State Buckeyes, cooking, baking, swimming and shopping. My family and I spend our summers going on vacations, going to the beach, the state fair, Cedar Point and lots of swimming!
I love forward to meeting my new group of kids each year and watching them learn and grow!
