Mount Vernon City Schools has a vibrant music program that encompasses all grade levels. Our music courses are taught by certified music specialists in the areas of classroom music, vocal music, and instrumental music. The district was recognized in 2024 as a "Best Community for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation.
