I am a 1995 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. I was inspired to teach Science after having Mr. Arnold, Mr. Cleland, and Mrs. Schutte. I attended Ohio University for my undergraduate degree and then Baldwin-Wallace for my Masters degree. I moved to Cleveland to begin my teaching career at Parma Senior High School. After 14 years, I then transferred to Licking Heights High School where I taught for 6 years.
Family is very important to me. I moved back to Mount Vernon to be closer to many of my family members and have been teaching at Mount Vernon Middle School since 2019. I look forward to raising my children here and teaching in a community that I love.
