I am a graduate of Kent State University, where I received by Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2005. I have been working in the hospital setting for the past 13 years. My work experience includes Med/Surg, ER, and Cardiology. I am very excited to be working in the Mount Vernon school system and look forward to providing care and services to the wonderful children in this community. 
 
 **Please note: The district school nurse will be on maternity leave from July 22, 2019 to November 29, 2019. Please contact your student's school with questions regarding health information. The Knox County Health Department can be contacted with questions regarding immunizations and vaccine requirements for school.

Columbia Health Aide

Jennifer Fletcher I serve as the Health Care Aide at Columbia Elementary and am honored to be taking care of your children while they are learning at Columbia. All three of my children have attended Columbia. I received my Medical Assisting degree through the Knox County Career Center. I have been a Certified Medical Assistant for the past 16 years at local family practices. Along with being a CMA, I am also a 4H adviser, Girl Scout leader and a Cub Scout assistant leader.  My husband and I live on a farm with our three children. We enjoy spending time together. We especially love to go hunting together on our farm. We have two dogs, a beagle (Lucy), a bloodhound (Abe), a few rabbits and many farm cats.  Thank you for the opportunity to take care of your wonderful kiddos while at school.
