Biographical Information:
Anthony Springer is an orchestra director for the Mount Vernon City School District. He holds a Master of Music Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from The College of Wooster. Mr. Springer is a professional member of the Ohio Music Education Association and American String Teacher's Association and currently serves as a string adjudicator. 

Mr. Springer's primary instrument is the cello. He performs with the Knox County Symphony, the annual MVNU Messiah, several local string quartets and ensembles. Mr. Springer has conducted both the Mansfield Symphony Youth Strings and College of Wooster Music Camp orchestras.

Mr. Springer currently lives near Gambier, Ohio with his wife, three children, and his Boston Terrier, Mahler.
