My name is Carla Jo Furan. My husband and I live in Sunbury, Ohio with our two fantastically spunky girls. We spend a lot of our time with family, watching sports, riding motorcycles, going to dance competitions, and doing barn chores with our local 4H club.

I’m so excited to begin my sixth year as an educator as a Mt. Vernon jacket! As a TESOL teacher, my goal is to teach literacy, inclusion, and be an advocate for students and teachers across the district. This year I will be working in each of the elementary schools helping students who collectively represent nine different languages.
