We are excited to share the Fall 2024 edition of the Mount Vernon City Schools District Newsletter with all members of the Mount Vernon community. By now, households across the area should have received their copy of our newsletter that celebrates recent achievements and highlights several schools in our district.

This issue features updates from three of our six elementary schools and one of our secondary schools, offering a closer look at the programs, projects, and initiatives making a difference in our classrooms and beyond. Schools not featured this time will be in the spotlight in our Spring 2024 edition.

We are also proud to announce that Mount Vernon City Schools earned a 4-star rating on the Ohio State Report Card—a reflection of our commitment to excellence in education.

Finally, we invite our senior citizens to join us for the Senior Citizens Fall Luncheon on Friday, November 15. This annual event is a wonderful way to connect with our valued senior community members and celebrate the spirit of Mount Vernon together.
