The online application form for new open enrollment will be available to be completed and submitted beginning April 1, 2025 through May 15, 2025.
New Open Enrollment includes:
- Elementary student residing within the Mount Vernon City School District's attendance area who is desiring to attend a different elementary building.
- Student from outside Mount Vernon City School District's attendance area desiring to attend a MVCSD school.
Parents who are Open Enrolling students to the Mount Vernon City School District must create a “OneView ” account by selecting the parent icon at the top right of the district website and then selecting OneView Parent Portal. Instructions for setting up a parent account and for new open enrollment are located on this page. New Open Enrolled Students will be required to enroll through the online registration process.
No "New" open enrollment applications will be accepted prior to April 1, 2025. Any submissions before April 1 will be denied.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 15, 2025. Applicants shall be considered according to board policy and administrative guidelines relative to open enrollment. Once submitted you will receive a time stamped email notification of your intent.
