MVCSD asks for all families to complete the Free/Reduced Meal application to ensure continued funding to support ALL students in our district. New financial criteria have been established, and families who qualify for 'reduced' status may now be eligible to receive free lunch and breakfast under the most recently passed biennial budget.

Mount Vernon City Schools Food Service FREE SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM will begin June 5 - July 28 for students ages 18 months to 18 years. Lunches are served Monday through Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Dan Emmett Elementary.

The Mount Vernon City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
