Mount Vernon City Schools is located in the heart of Knox County, approximately 45 miles northeast of Columbus. As the county seat, Mount Vernon combines a strong sense of community with connections to healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, higher education and a wide range of local businesses and organizations.
