PowerSchool Enrollment

New Student Registration – 2026–2027 School Year

Thank you for choosing Mount Vernon City School District.

Please allow approximately 30 minutes to complete the District’s online registration form. For the best experience, registration should be completed on a desktop or laptop computer.

Before You Begin

Please have the following information and documentation readily available. You will be required to upload documentation during the registration process.

  • Parent/guardian phone numbers and email addresses (home and work)
  • Emergency contact names and phone numbers, and an indication of whether each contact is authorized to pick up your child
  • Custody information and any applicable court documentation
  • Student health information, including:
    • Medical diagnoses made by a licensed physician
    • Relevant medical history
    • Allergies
    • Current medications and any applicable prescription information
    • Existing health care plans
  • Names and phone numbers of preferred doctors, dentists, and hospitals
  • Emergency medical contact information

Registration Process

The registration process consists of three steps:

  • Create an account through PowerSchool.
  • Complete the application on PowerSchool and upload all required documentation.
  • Contact the Welcome Center to finalize and complete the registration process.
