Our District
Mount Vernon City Schools serves roughly 3600 students in grades K-12 and is the 110th largest school district among 610 public school districts in Ohio. The Mount Vernon City School District's boundary traces over 92 miles and encompasses 145 square miles in Central Knox County.

Our Board
Mount Vernon City Schools Board of Education is made up of five elected community members to serve as the governing body of our school district. Each board member is elected to serve a four-year term.
