About the MVMS' Book Club Tattered Pages

This is a group of students who have permission from their parent(s) or guardians to meet after school in the Middle School Library on Tuesdays from 2:45-3:30.  The books this group reads are chosen by the students and staff in the club.  The students do not have to read all the books to be in the club and may come and go when a book interests them. Mrs. Rochte the librarian and Mrs.Menke an 8th grade Language Arts/Reading teachers are the club's advisors.

Up Coming Tattered Pages Fundraiser's

this year

These are contingent on kids coming to help us. We want this to be your club and you feel like you are apart of it.  Mrs. Menke and I only come up with ideas to make it happen for you. All fundraising goes back to you all so please, try your best to sell the products we are trying to raise funds with.

Tattered Pages Memorable Quotes

In a tangent of Twilight and the vampire genre in general, the following quotes were uttered and received with much laughing and guffawing April 7th @ Sips.

Baumann "Vampires are now depicted as sexy, glittery gods and goddess."

Johns "Yeah! Bring back the blood suckers!!"

Baumann "You know, I was watching New Moon the other day and there was something that bothered me.  When Jacob saves Bella when she jumps off the cliff, he has clothes on.  When the werewolves change they rip the clothing off and can't wear them any more.  Where did he get the clothes?!  Was it like "Gotta save Bella! Gotta save Bella!  Oh! A Walmart!!  Gotta save Bella!  Gotta save Bella!?"

Johns "Twilight is for girls, who....for girls who...."

Baumann "Have no grasp on reality!?"
