I am a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in History.  I completed my teaching certification at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.  I have lived in Knox County, Ohio for the majority of my life.  I love sports and have been very fortunate to have coached both football and baseball for many years. I am currently the head baseball coach here at MVHS.  I am honored to be part of such a wonderful program.  I consider the athletic playing field an extention of the classroom.  I am very fortunate that I am able to do the two things that I love the most teaching and coaching. 

I love OSU football and college baseball, but High school sports are my favorite.  I love to read and have a tremendous appreciation for the written word.   I have a tremendous family with one older sister and two younger brothers. Both of my brothers are in the field of education as well as my mother who has taught for over 30 years.  My parents reside in Knox County as well and are my biggest supporters.
