Orchestra Received Superior Rating

The Mount Vernon High School Orchestra received a "Superior" rating on their performance at the 2012 Ohio Music Education Assocation State Orchestra Adjudicated Event. The orchestra performed three prepared music selections (Overture to Lucio Silla by Mozart/Dackow, O Magnum Mysterium by Lauridsen/Dackow, and Danza by Nelhybel) in front of judges as well as sight-read an unfamiliar piece of music. The rating is reserved for the truly outstanding musical performance. Congratulations!
