I am originally from Mt. Vernon and am married to my husband, Alvin. We have three school aged children. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Cedarville University and have a Master's degree from Ashland University both in the areas of education. This is my 20th year of teaching and I have taught students in grades kindergarten through 7th grade over the years. I am currently an Intervention Specialist for 6th grade ELA at the middle school. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching OSU football.
