March Board of Education Meeting
The Mount Vernon Board Of Education met in regular session Monday evening.  In addition to agenda items, the Board discussed the District's response to the COVID-19 crisis.  Board Members expressed concern for all area citizens and commended faculty, staff, and students for all of their efforts during these challenging times.  Superintendent William Seder explained district plans for Extended School.  Due to health and safety concerns, several community recognitions, building reports, and student liason reports were postponed.  The Board approved employment for school social workers for all district buildings, Student Services contracts, and a financial report from Treasurer, Gary Hankins, before retiring to executive session.

The next Board of Education meeting will be April 20 at 6:00 PM at the Board of Education Office.
