Students Selected for 2017 Region Orchestra

MOUNT VERNON, OHIO (August 24, 2017) - The following Mount Vernon High School students were selected to be in the East-Central Region Orchestra of the Ohio Music Education Association. They will join orchestra students from across 21 counties from Greater Columbus all the way over to the Pennsylvanian border. The concert will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Granville High School.

Three students received even more recognition. Josephine Noonan was selected for the OMEA All-State Orchestra and Elizabeth Gifford and Sarah Lord are All-State Orchestra alternates. Congratulations!
