Summer Food Service Program
The Mount Vernon City Schools is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the sites and
times as follows:
  • HIAWATHA PARK  June 4th thru August 3rd Monday thru Friday 11:30 am to 1:00 pm 
  • RIVERSIDE PARK  June 4th thru August 3rd Monday thru Friday 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
  • No lunch will be served July 3rd and 4th.
  • Food must be consumed on site. 
  • If there is severe weather (storms with high winds and/or lightning) lunch will be served at Pleasant Street Elementary School at 305 East Pleasant Street.
  • Listen to WMVO for weather cancellations.

Additionally, program information may be made available in languages other than English.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination 
Complaint Fonn, (AD-3027) found online at: http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint filing cust.html, and at any USDA office, or write a Jetter addressed to USDA and provide in the Jetter all of the information requested in the form.
