Hello 6th grade parents and students!
We are very excited to welcome our incoming 6th grade class! I truly understand how important the transition to middle school is for students and here at MVMS we make it a priority to ensure they are supported through the transition and welcomed to a safe, respectful, and exciting learning environment. This is even more important given the circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic. I look forward each year to our transition meeting in the spring and meeting our new parents and students, which unfortunately we were unable to have due to COVID -19.
Below is a link to our virtual 5th to 6th grade transition video. This transition video is the first step in the process of welcoming your family to our building. In this transition video, we provide you with important information about the educational experience, operating procedures, and supports we offer at our school. Additional information about the beginning of the school year, the hybrid schedule, and Covid 19 guidelines will be shared soon from our central office and through the MVMS beginning of the year parent update.
