MOUNT VERNON, OH (March 14, 2017) - Artwork from three Mount Vernon High School students were selected from 12,000 pieces submitted at the State Level of the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition.
Six Mount Vernon High School Seniors recently competed in the Columbus College of Art and Design Scholarship competition which is held annually for potential incoming students. Rea Bennett, Ryan Bielecki, Fredi Bockover, Mary Lowe, Paige Hashman, and Kailyn Jackson were all awarded individual scholarships ranging in value with the group total being 320 thousand dollars! MOUNT VERNON, OHIO (May 5,2016) - MVHS Junior Fredi Bockover's artwork has been selected to for the District 7 Congressional Art Show. Her work was selected in the top 10 and will be recognized by Congressman Bob Gibbs at a special reception this weekend.
