Hello and welcome to Mrs. Firebaugh's Third Grade! I absolutely love educating children. I started my career here at East Elementary as a fifth grade teacher in 2000 and then moved to the third grade level in 2005. I received my B.A. in education from Ashland University, and eventually attained my M.A. from Nova Southeastern University. I live here in Mount Vernon with my husband Corey, and three children, Rylan, Camden, and Kinsley. I love family time, sports, travel, animals, and guiding and working with our youth. As students walk away from my classroom, it is always my hope that I have instilled in them two important rules to live by-- always work hard and be kind to others!
