I am a graduate of Kent State University, where I received by Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 2005. I have been working in the hospital setting for the past 13 years. My work experience includes Med/Surg, ER, and Cardiology. I am very excited to be working in the Mount Vernon school system and look forward to providing care and services to the wonderful children in this community. 
 
 **Please note: The district school nurse will be on maternity leave from July 22, 2019 to November 29, 2019. Please contact your student's school with questions regarding health information. The Knox County Health Department can be contacted with questions regarding immunizations and vaccine requirements for school.

Jeanne Ham
I serve as the Health Care Aide at Dan Emmett Elementary and am honored to be taking care of your children. I was born and raised in Mount Vernon and have been married for 27 years. My husband and I have three children and four grandchildren. One of our grandsons presently attends school at Dan Emmett.
I enjoy working with all the kids and staff and I feel blessed serving the children at Dan Emmett School.
