I have been teaching in Mt. Vernon City Schools since 1996. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade and 4th grade. I am a life-long resident of Mount Vernon, Ohio. I graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and went on to earn my Master's Degree from Ashland University. I am married to Brian and we have a son, Nolan. In my spare time I love to read, walk on the trail, and watch The Ohio State Buckeyes football and basketball teams as well as the Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets!
